The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition will have the opportunity to:
Be responsible for four hospitals and the diversified businesses within the northern part of Maryland including MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, MedStar Harbor Hospital and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital;
Report directly to the Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer of MedStar Health;
Serve as a key member of the Human Resources leadership team;
Attract, recruit and retain top talent for the system;
Select and utilize ATS technology to support optimal workflows and processes for internal and external clients;
Work closely with the key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information;
Provide ongoing professional development of HR staff to ensure their progressive and up-to-date knowledge, competencies, and customer focus while supporting the System mission; and,
Serve as a leader, mentor and expert resource of regulations, industry trends, Best Practices and applicable laws regarding human resources.
The successful candidate will bring:
At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience;
A Masters degree and SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR certification; and,
Experience building and leading a decentralized (multi-location) Talent Acquisition team.
