The Vice President, Quality Institute (VPQI) reports to the Senior Vice President and Chief Experience Officer of Presbyterian Health Services. The VPQI will be responsible for the development of an integrated approach to outcomes improvement in quality, patient safety, clinical performance and regulatory compliance across the enterprise. Working in partnership with PHS’s senior leadership team and clinical and physician leaders across the system, s/he will provide leadership and coordination directed at achieving excellence in clinical quality, patient safety, and related services.
Essential skills and qualifications for the role include:
Leadership experience in quality and patient safety in a large tertiary hospital/ integrated delivery system setting required; multi-site leadership and integration experience is a plus.
Expertise in clinical quality and patient safety; a track record in quality management and performance improvement; experience in data management as it relates to enhanced care delivery.
Skilled change agent with demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural, interpersonal, organizational, political, perceptual, and fiscal issues associated with change.
