In this PI Nurse role, you will provide and apply clinical knowledge and expertise; advanced critical thinking, coaching and teaching skills and knowledge of performance improvement tools, techniques and processes to a variety of federally or state mandated and/or hospital driven processes. These may include medical staff peer review; clinical database coordination; team/task force development and facilitation; maintenance of policies and procedures and continuous accreditation readiness.
Florida RN license
BSN and 5 years of experience working in an acute care facility with prior Performance Improvement experience.
Demonstrated involvement in Performance Improvement activities.
Strong clinical background with a combination of ED, ICU and Med/Surg preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office Word and Excel.
Advanced communication, organizational skills and interpersonal skills including ability to analyze data, manage time, prioritize, communicate effectively, and problem solve.
Position requires traveling to different sites and must be willing to work early mornings and late afternoons.
