Training Specialist/QA Officer OR/CSS Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston MA Full-time
The role of the Training Specialist/QA Officer encompasses, but is not limited to, the development, training, coordination and the implementation of training programs for CPD and all off-site areas performing sterilization and/or high-level disinfection procedures. The Training Specialist/QA Officer is responsible for maintenance and assessment of staff competencies and records. They will ensure all QA documentation is following regulatory agencies such as JCAHO, Department of Public Health, CDC, AAMI, and AORN Standards.
Associate in Business orHealthcare, or equivalent experience, or CHL Certification, B.S. Preferred
At least three years’ experience in a leadership position in the Central Processing Department
Five years’ direct experience in operating room technique and procedure and instrumentation
