The Nurse Educator Manager will function in the role of an expert clinician, educator, consultant and researcher. He/she will manage and oversee evidence based practices for brain, spinal and other neurologic disorders and work with other managers and directors assuring nursing practices are of quality to the center and to the program. The Nurse Educator Manager will sit on hospital wide and program committees to enhance best practices and work with the CNE and ABI Program Directors to support collaborative practices in nursing and therapy. He/she will manage nurse educators to support implementation of best practices. Within these roles, the Nurse Educator Manager will need to have skills as a role model, collaborator, innovator, advocate and change agent.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN with Master’s Degree in Nurse Education (professional experience in the field of interest accepted).
3-5 years clinical experience in either Med/Surg or Rehab. Nurse Educator experience preferred or other advance practice nurse certifications in neuro.
