Penn State Harrisburg, School of Public Affairs (SPA), invites applications for a tenure-track position in health administration at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective August 2019. The successful candidate will teach in the Master of Health Administration (HADM) and the Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration (HPA) programs. Applicants should have an earned Doctorate in health administration or a related field and must provide evidence of a successful and impactful research agenda. TWhile the area of specialization is open, particular interest and ability to teach Long-Term Care Management and Administration, Healthcare IT and Analytics, Healthcare Systems and Management, Healthcare Insurance, and/or Healthcare Ethics is a plus. Residential as well as online teaching experience and interdisciplinary collaboration are expected. In addition, since this is a tenure track position, there is a clear expectation for high-quality published research in healthcare as well as a service component to the department, school, and college.
