Yale School of Medicine, Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking a candidate to be the Director of the large multi-disciplinary academic medical intensive care unit at the York Street Campus of YNHH. This exciting academic leadership position will be filled at the rank of Associate Professor commensurate with qualifications. The successful candidate will work in all aspects of existing clinical programs, including airway management and advanced point of care ultrasound, advanced ARDS therapies, ECMO and a rapidly growing innovative Tele-ICU program. Candidates are expected to have outstanding skills in the clinical, scholarly and educational arena. Particular emphasis is placed on skill in educating resident and fellow trainees, ability to participate in quality improvement efforts, and strength in interpersonal communication and teamwork. Successful applicants are expected to make a significant contribution to the clinical, educational, and research missions of the Section.
Minimum requirements include: Proven leadership experience in critical care, board certification in pulmonary and critical care medicine and outstanding recommendations.
