The Med Central Communications Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all operations of the communications center. In addition to working a dispatch position and performing the full range of Dispatcher call taking and dispatching functions when required, the Coordinator will also direct and supervise subordinate staff. This includes assigning and delegating work projects, scheduling employees to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained, and performance management including evaluating work performance, quality assurance, coaching, mentoring and/or implementing corrective action for performance and conduct issues. Additional responsibilities include monitor contract compliance, producing call volume reports as well as contract monthly and quarterly reports. The Coordinator will oversee all Communications Supervisors, CTOs and Dispatchers.
