The Regional Director of Women's and Children's Services is responsible for strategic and operational leadership for Obstetric and Pediatric service lines at all campuses throughout the Quad Cities and Muscatine. The role provides oversight of development of business, financial, personnel, and marketing plans that foster growth, while meeting patient and provider expectations. It possesses overall managerial responsibility for all aspects of obstetric and pediatric services and is accountable for the operational performance, including quality of services, financial performance and competitive market position. This role works closely with Medical Director to collaborate on advancing clinical outcomes and efficiency. Ensuring all functions are in compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and accrediting standards. The Regional Director represents the Obstetric and Pediatric Service Lines within Trinity Health System and the communities served. Observing and practicing within the framework of the scope and standards for nurse administrators. This role assumes responsibilities delegated by the Vice President of Patient Services which concerns the planning and implementation of patient care. The Director will contribute to professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to the patients and their families. Planning , organizing, and directing activities within respective department for 24/7 activities. Using independent judgment in crisis situations and takes appropriate actions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or Nursing. Registered Nurse – Licensed and registered in the state of Iowa and Illinois (RN)
BSN desirable, prefer Master’s Degree in Nursing or Business.
Five years’ experience in middle or higher-level management. Must have three (3) years prior acute care experience and demonstrated leadership abilities. Relevant experience in obstetrics, neonate, pediatric and gynecology
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Iowa and Illinois
· ACLS, and
· PALS or NRP
