Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Director of Performance Improvement provides leadership and is responsible of ensuring the implementation of the organization-wide Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to evaluate the quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction with services on the part of all stakeholders, and helps identify issues and develop solutions across all business functions to meet and exceed standards and expectations. Oversees the Performance Improvement department. Provides functional support and consultation for new and current business units/programs to develop quality improvement objectives, measures and reporting methods for the CQI plan and to meet healthcare quality improvement requirements. Oversees all quality activities including but not limited to: client, family and stakeholder satisfaction and feedback surveys, clinical record reviews focused on clinical care and quality outcomes, accessibility planning and Board sub-end clinical metrics.

Qualified candidate must have a Master’s Degree from an accredited four year university or college, be a licensed mental health professional or Registered Nurse and five years of experience providing direct clinical services for SMI and co-occurring populations and two years of experience supervising clinical staff. Knowledge of the theories and principles of Quality Management and CQI, evidenced-based practices and experience in planning and implementation of quality improvement activities are requirements
