Performs and coordinates the review of core measures and performance improvement activities for the hospital. Conducts and documents performance review activities by utilizing the Quantros system. Coordinates Medical Staff Committee meetings and their review processes. Provides staff education on evidence based medicine topics. Plans facilitates and documents the Medical Staff peer review and performance improvement activities.
(including required licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge / experience)
Education Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated ability or knowledge in Quality Improvement and Medical Staff Committed Coordination. 5 years nursing in acute care setting and 2 years in Quality Management.
Ability to interpret and process data in an analytical manner
Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and accreditation process
PC Skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Previous experience with electronic health record
Florida RN License (required) CPHQ(preferred).
Prefers experience with Quantros and SIM-Plus Operative and Invasive procedure review
