System Director of Performance Improvement

The System Director of Performance Improvement is responsible for providing overall direction for all performance improvement activities, special projects and initiatives identified by System CQTO and PHH executive team. This position reports to Penn Highlands Healthcare System Chief Quality & Transformation Officer (CQTO).
The primary objective of this position is to facilitate strategic/operational changes and process improvement initiatives/projects designed to achieve significant results which support improving quality, safety and experience and reducing cost, with a focus on clinical quality, cost effectiveness, service delivery, process redesign, outcomes measurement, risk avoidance/control, and regulatory compliance. This position collaborates with a broad constituency at all organizational levels to improve in the areas of clinical quality, patient safety, patient experience/satisfaction, and operations advocating for the adoption and application of performance improvement concepts aimed at increasing value to our patients and colleagues through utilization of Penn Highlands Management System Framework. Consults with senior leaders and leads the performance improvement and data analytics department of PHH.
