Steele Institute for Health Innovation serves as the innovation hub for Geisinger. The Institutes purpose is to support Geisinger innovators and lead the nation in building transformative, scalable, measurable and sustainable solutions that improve health, care delivery, patient experience and lower costs. The Steele Institute for Health Innovation strategy focuses on a foundational pivot from internally-focused operational improvements to externally-focused experiences for our consumers, patients and members. The Innovation operations team supports Institutes across Geisinger in developing disruptive innovation within new processes, workflows and payment models.The Quality Assurance Analyst Intermediate IT is responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, test data management, and test execution. Assists in developing and collecting metrics to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance activities. Supports business and other IT personnel in their understanding of and participation in quality assurance activities.
Develops test plans and commensurates with the risk and complexity of the application and system being tested.
Assists in creating and improving quality assurance processes and tools.
Performs complex functional, integration, and systems testing.
Works with business area to define acceptance testing.
Assist in usability testing when applicable.
Identifies, documents, and tracks all testing defects, assisting in their resolution.
Develops test scripts, test data, stores, and uses automation technology for testing automation.
Collects data for quality assurance metrics and reporting.
Assists in developing, gathering data for, and reporting of quality metrics.
Develops quality assurance and testing skills and assists with the development of associate-level quality assurance analysts.
