Registered Nurse (Quality Management Specialist)
The Quality Management Specialist (QMS) is a professional registered nurse (RN), qualified by education and experience to provide direct staff support to FHCC managers and leadership for quality improvement, performance improvement and continuous survey readiness. . The QMS executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to implementing and managing all aspects of the Joint Commission survey process, the CARF survey process, the LTCI survey process, and VA/Navy IG survey process. He/she will facilitate and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Healthcare Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (HFMEA) processes, and rapid improvement events. The QMS will also support the command's strategic initiative of Lean Six Sigma program by leading and fac
