Director of Quality Management & Performance Improvement (PI)
Provides leadership and assumes ultimate accountability for department, implementation, and coordination of hospital quality improvement, professional development and education programs.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines and monitors quality improvement programs throughout the organization.
Develops, maintains, and refines education and consultative programs that support consistent, evidenced-based, outcome-focused, culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate care for patients across all clinical areas.
The Director of PI reports directly to the Chief quality Officer (CQO)
Master’s degree in related field
Active RN license
5 - 8 years quality or related health care experience required. 10 years preferred
Experienced in the use of statistical, security adjustment and benchmarking software and databases.
Expertise in CPI & operational/process improvement.
Expert working knowledge of systems theory and statistics.
Expert knowledge of healthcare regulations, guidelines and standards.
Ability to work effectively with various levels of management personnel, physicians, board members, and other community members
Superior leadership and teaching abilities
Expert knowledge of health and safety management strategies, quality assurance, quality improvement and continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
