We seek a motivated and high standards individual to lead the Quality Improvement program of the Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso Ambulatory Clinics. The position involves directing and coordinating the operation and activities of the Quality Improvement Office. The office is tasked with reviewing, measuring and articulating to practitioners, staff and Clinics leadership standards of clinical and operational quality. The Senior Director works under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative and independent judgment and serves as liaison with university offices, personnel and community at large.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Masters Preferred) from an accredited School of Nursing, with a current license in the State of Texas
• Six years progressively responsible management experience
• Three years’ experience in hospital/clinic Quality Improvement activities/programs
• Additional education beyond Bachelor’s may substitute for experience on a year for year basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Joint Commission experience in certification as an Ambulatory Care Facility, and healthcare providers ongoing evaluation program
