Nursing Quality Management (NQM) provides direction and guidance to the Department of Nursing in its continual strive towards a high reliability organization. NQM takes the lead in key nursing initiatives, including the implementation and enculturation of our professional practice model, Relationship Based Care, and supporting our institutional pursuit in maintaining Magnet Status.

Support institutional and department quality patient care, nursing excellence and innovations in nursing care.
Partner with front line nursing staff, Nurse Leadership, Infection Control, Quality and Safety and other ancillary departments that collaborate in providing nursing care to monitor, analyze and report Nurse Sensitive Indicators. Also facilitate patient safety and performance improvement to ensure quality outcomes across the patient care continuum.
Support Nursing's pursuit of Magnet and Hospital re-accreditation processes, including Joint Commission and Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT).
Partner and work closely with our Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Quality Team.
New York State RN license and BSN
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing, quality or regulatory experience required
2+ years of oncology nursing experience highly preferred
National nursing certification required, or must acquire within 12 months from date of hire
Hours: Full-time 8 or 10 hour day shift, 37.5 hrs per week ;
