The VB Healthcare Consultant Sr. will provide senior level consultant subject matter expertise to achieve transformation and sustainable change which supports the System strategy of providing safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-center (STEEEP) care in accordance with regulatory statutes, policies and procedures.

JOB SUMMARY
The VP Healthcare Consultant Sr. will serve as a senior-level internal consultant for STEEEP initiatives; facilitate, coordinate, and provide project management for quality improvement teams and strategic planning sessions; and provide professional leadership, coaching and mentoring of staff and management in the provision of STEEEP care and regulatory issues.

Develop multidisciplinary indicators to monitor and evaluate the quality of care and services provied to patients, prepare regular status reports, potential barriers, lessons learned for all strategic improvement priorities; and conduct investigations of any adverse events, report findings and develop programs to reduce adverse events or hazards.

Work with staff to utilize appropriate audit strategies, electronic data extraction, expert observation, surveys, focus groups or other tools to obtain relevant information to improve care and quality of service. Collaborates in the development, interpretation, and administration of policies, procedures and practices in accordance with STEEEP care objects and federal and state legal requirements.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
The Ideal VP Healthcare Consultant Sr. candidate will have knowledge of the tools and techniques of quality performance measurements; skilled in facilitation, coaching, consulting, influencing, and project management. A strategic thinker with investigative and problem resolution skills and strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively, navigate strategic and operational challenges to achieve objectives and able to identify potential issues that will impede success and recommend and implement corrective action.
