This position will drive consistency, efficient processes and share best practices in a collaborative effort with providers to facilitate a minimum 4 Star rating. The candidate will participate in quality improvement initiatives, develop recommendations, and implement clinical strategies to capture relevant data for HEDIS gap closure.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Evaluate provider group structures and characteristics, office operations and personnel to identify most effective strategies to reach quality goal
• Develop plans to motivate physicians, RNs, and supporting staff to engage in improvement of quality care initiatives
• Develop solution based, user friendly initiatives to support provider practice success
• Lead quality discussions in group meetings to summarize provider group performance and identify areas of opportunity
• Assist in development of training and analytical materials for Stars and HEDIS
• Provide interpretation of Stars and HEDIS reporting, including summaries to provider groups
• Assist with data abstraction and chart review for HEDIS measure submission
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Utah
• Associate's degree or higher level of education
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting, hospital, or physician office practice
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Local travel to provider sites as needed. Up to 25% local travel
• Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and / or patient sites within a designated area
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience presenting education to providers and office staff
• Previous experience or knowledge in NCQA HEDIS measures or CMS Star Ratings
