The Infection Control Nurse demonstrates leadership, experience, and creative approaches to improve safe, cost effective, and medically appropriate levels of care for the management of patients with infection control needs throughout the continuum of care in all settings. The Infection Control Nurse, in collaboration with medical provider staff, administers a comprehensive infection control program for the medical center.
