Director Risk Management Director Risk ManagementPosition SummaryAt Stony Brook Medicine the Director of Risk Management Manage oversees the Risk Management team whom actively participates in the defense of claims, mitigate liability exposure, and analyze adverse occurrences and near misses to promote process improvement and excellent health care in a safe environment. The Director, who reports to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), will promote Risk Management collaboration, and consultation to reduce liability exposure and facilitate safe care and excellent patient quality outcomes.
