Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained by Washington Hospital Healthcare System to conduct the search for a Director of Quality.
Washington Hospital Healthcare System serves approximately 320,000 residents in the Washington Township Healthcare District including the residents of Fremont, Newark, Union City, and parts of South Hayward in the Greater Bay Area in Northern California. Washington Hospital is a 415-bed, Magnet designated, acute care hospital providing a comprehensive list of services providing the highest levels of care. These services continue to expand through a growing affiliation with the University of California San Francisco Health and the recent approval to seek verification as a Level II Trauma Center.
Reporting to the Chief Quality Officer, the Director of Quality at WHHS, you will be at the forefront of advancing patient outcomes and safety through the implementation of evidence-based practices and innovative quality initiatives. This nurse leader will have a key role in shaping and executing the organization's strategic vision for healthcare quality as WHHS looks to optimize the department and become more proactive at a system level.

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with current California RN license or eligible required.
Master’s degree in Healthcare Leadership / Nursing or Public Administration or three years related experience required; Doctorate degree preferred.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
Lean certified preferred and Certified in Infection Prevention (CIC) preferred.
Minimum five years (5) experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing healthcare Quality Management programs.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in healthcare quality improvement.
Expertise in data management, presentation, and analyses.

Min $ 166,000, Mid $ 198,000, Max $ 230,000
