The Assistant VP (AVP) of Payor Revenue Performance directs and oversees Insurance Billing, Collections, Cash Posting, and Denials Management for all Centura Hospitals and Clinics. The individual's primary goal is to optimize revenue generation and ensure efficient cash flow while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices. This includes systemwide leadership of people, processes, and technologies with an organization of nearly 200 people. Additionally, this role if focused on customer service, denial prevention, vendor management, and compliance. This individual is responsible for helping to design and execute Centura's strategic insurance billing and collections functions through differentiation of leading technology and best-in-class functions. Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionallyWhat You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university. Master's preferred.* Seven (7+) or more years demonstrated experience in the understanding and management of healthcare revenue cycle.* Ten (10+) or more years in the healthcare industry with proven experience in a large, complex, multi-facility healthcare environment with the ability to collaborate and work with people at all levels.Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
