Assist in the coordination of care and trauma performance improvement with other trauma service team members and accurately enters clinical data points into the trauma registry. Actively participate in the achievement of trauma service goals to maintain appropriate trauma center designation.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Minimum Experience Requirements:* Two years recent hospital based nursing experience* Basic computer skills* Membership to a related professional organization preferred (Society of Trauma Nurses, Emergency Nurses Association)Education requirements:  * ADN required-Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing* Completion of the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) course from Association for the Advancement of AutomotiveMedicine upon hire or within 2 years of hire/transfer* BSN preferredLicense/Certification requirements:* CO RN license required or Compact/Multi state RN license required* BLS from the AHA required upon hire* ACLS from the AHA required upon hire or within one year of hire/transfer* TNCC required upon hire or within one year of hire/transfer date* CSTR Registry Certification required upon hire or within 3 years of hire/transfer* Trauma Registrar Course or an equivalent course from the American TraumaSociety or state equivalent course is Required within 12 months of hire.* Abbreviated Injury Scaling Course from American Advancement of Automotive Motoring isrequired within 12 months of hire.* Physical RequirementsMedium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantlyYour Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
