Patient Safety Specialist (PSO)
The Patient Safety Specialist will provide expertise and support for patient safety initiatives as a Center for Patient Safety (CPS) team member. The position supports healthcare providers in identifying, sharing, and implementing patient safety and culture improvement strategies, including Patient Safety Organization (PSO) related activities. The patient safety specialist will be the primary contact point for PSO clients regarding CPS activities. They will also assist with data review and analysis and provide expertise for other assigned projects and CPS activities. The Patient Safety Specialist will also provide education for clients via webinars, calls, and in-person meetings.
