Quality Management Specialist
JOB SUMMARY:Performs concurrent and retrospective chart reviews on designated population to evaluate care in accordance with accepted standards of medical practice, hospital policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines. Utilize required criteria to evaluate the delivery of care and/or services. Refer all variances to appropriate department heads and/or medical staff for interventions. Prepare, analyze and compile statistics for required reports.
