Description

Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks an Imaging Services Coordinator to oversee daily operations of Imaging Services within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. This role coordinates patient scheduling and workflow, ensures high-quality diagnostic imaging, and supports technologists and radiologists in delivering safe, accurate studies. The Coordinator monitors quality and safety standards, optimizes use of advanced imaging technology, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient experience. Coordinate daily operations and workflow for Imaging Services
Oversee patient scheduling and exam prioritization
Ensure adherence to imaging quality, safety, and compliance standards
Liaise with radiologists, technologists, nursing, and other departments
Monitor equipment utilization and assist with downtime coordination
Support protocol implementation and optimization for imaging studies
Track performance metrics and assist with quality improvement projects
Provide guidance and support to imaging staff on processes and policies
Address patient and provider concerns related to imaging services
Assist with staff orientation, training, and procedure updates
Radiology workflow coordination
PACS/RIS systems
Diagnostic imaging modalities (CT/MRI/Ultrasound/X-ray) fundamentals
Patient scheduling and throughput management
Healthcare quality and safety standards
Radiology coding and exam protocols familiarity
Data and performance metric tracking
Regulatory compliance (Joint Commission/ACR/HIPAA)
Clinical communication and care coordination
