Description
Hartford Healthcare seeks a Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Coordinator to lead quality and safety initiatives across our healthcare network. In this role, you will analyze clinical and operational data, coordinate performance improvement projects, and support teams in meeting regulatory and accreditation standards. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary leaders to design and monitor quality metrics, facilitate root cause analyses, and implement evidence-based best practices. Collect, analyze, and report quality and patient safety data using dashboards and reports
Monitor compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and state regulatory standards
Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action plans for adverse events and trends
Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to design and track performance metrics
Educate staff on quality improvement methodologies and best practices
Support accreditation and survey readiness activities
Develop and maintain QAPI policies, procedures, and documentation
Present quality outcomes and recommendations to leadership committees
Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and patient-centered care
Healthcare quality improvement (QI) methodologies
Data analysis and healthcare quality metrics
Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
Regulatory and accreditation standards (CMS, Joint Commission)
Root cause analysis and incident investigation
Performance dashboard and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools)
Policy and procedure development
Project management in healthcare settings
Clinical workflow and patient safety principles
Presentation and training facilitation
