Description
Hartford Healthcare seeks a Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Coordinator to lead quality and patient safety initiatives within our Healthcare & Medical Services network. In this role, you will design, implement, and monitor QA and performance improvement programs, analyze clinical and operational data, and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify trends, develop corrective action plans, and support staff education. Collect, analyze, and report clinical and operational quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational quality standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS).
Facilitate root cause analyses and develop corrective and preventive action plans with interdisciplinary teams.
Develop, update, and monitor quality policies, procedures, and performance improvement plans.
Provide training and education to staff on quality tools, patient safety practices, and performance improvement methodologies.
Collaborate with leadership to set quality goals, benchmarks, and performance targets.
Prepare and present quality dashboards, reports, and recommendations to leadership and committees.
Support implementation of evidence-based practices and standardization of clinical processes to improve outcomes.
Engage frontline staff in continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
Quality assurance in healthcare
