Description
Hartford Healthcare seeks a Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Coordinator to drive quality and safety initiatives across our healthcare network. In this role, you will analyze clinical and operational data, monitor key performance indicators, and coordinate performance improvement projects within the Quality Assurance & Testing department. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate quality improvement plans that align with regulatory standards and organizational goals. Collect, analyze, and report quality and performance data, including key performance indicators.
Develop, implement, and monitor performance improvement plans and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and internal quality standards.
Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
Facilitate root cause analyses and use evidence-based tools to address quality and safety issues.
Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
Educate and support staff on quality improvement methodologies and best practices.
Participate in audits, surveys, and readiness activities for regulatory and accreditation reviews.
Support a culture of patient safety, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.
Healthcare quality improvement
Data analysis and reporting
Root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning
Performance measurement and KPI monitoring
Regulatory and accreditation compliance (e.g., Joint Commission)
Statistical process control and quality tools
Process mapping and workflow analysis
Project coordination and management
Electronic health record (EHR) data extraction and review
Presentation and report-writing skills

Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred
RN license or clinical background a plus
