Description
Piedmont Healthcare seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to support high standards of patient care across our Georgia network. In this role, you will develop and execute QA procedures, audits, and data reviews within the Quality Assurance & Testing department to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies. You will analyze performance metrics, support investigations, and collaborate with clinical and operational teams to drive process improvements. Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies
Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Collaborate with clinical, IT, and operations teams to resolve quality issues and improve workflows
Support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and documentation
Prepare quality reports and dashboards for leadership review
Assist with training staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices
Participate in continuous improvement and patient-safety initiatives
Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews
Contribute to development and refinement of QA policies, SOPs, and checklists

Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency
Quality metrics and dashboards
Documentation and SOP development

Cross-functional collaboration

Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt a plus
Familiarity with Joint Commission and CMS standards
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and quality reporting tools
Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements
