Description

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Targeted Review role supporting technology-enabled, data-driven care. In this position, you will perform focused clinical reviews of patient records to evaluate quality, safety, and compliance with evidence-based standards. Using EHR systems and digital review tools, you will identify documentation gaps, care variances, and risk areas, collaborating with providers and IT partners to address findings. You will generate clear reports, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and help refine review workflows in a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and continual improvement.
Conduct targeted clinical reviews of patient records to ensure quality of care and adherence to clinical guidelines
Analyze healthcare data and documentation using review software tools and electronic health records (EHR) systems
Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and IT specialists to clarify findings and optimize clinical workflows
Identify care gaps, documentation issues, and potential risk areas; escalate concerns per policy
Prepare clear, concise review summaries and reports for leadership and quality committees
Support implementation of quality improvement initiatives based on review outcomes
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and Kaiser Permanente policies for data privacy and security
Participate in training, process refinement, and cross-functional projects that enhance review accuracy and efficiency
